- George Galbin Added 2018-03-03★ ★ ★ ★ ☆World class views. Tantalus Range opens before your eyes. There is one lookout above the highway and one on the highway. It depends of the direction you go. The one on the hill gives you better camera pictures since you can use the trees shade. There is a nice bench. When you drive from Vancouver to Whistler, turn right just after the Weather Station. Cannot turn left, or you can but it is not permitted. The viewpoint accross the street is exposed to sun most of the day, it has a small info center presenting a bit of the First Nations history. Cannot turn left towards Whistler from this spot. The mountains peaks are cover by snow even during summertime.
