  Just left there. I refuse to ever spend my money at this store again when passing through. As a researcher who does a lot of traveling, I always love to post or directly tell a retail store or cafe when I appreciate their business. Unfortunately, such is not the case here. I had entered the establishment with my small dog since I didn't want her to be hot in her crate. The manager immediately barked and snapped at me. There is a way to say "no" and the way he said it was humiliating. Was it because I was black? I have no idea. But I wonder what would cause a manager to speak to me in those tones. Later after putting my dog in the vehicle, I reentered and tried to explain how I felt. He denied ever having used such tones. Walmart was a place I was going to mention in my book under acknowledgments. I still shall but it shall be the American one in Burlington. Definitely not the Canadian one.
